Colin Turkington today announced a continued partnership with the UK and Ireland’s leading provider of express two man home deliveries.
Breezemount have pledged their ongoing support after a successful 2015 campaign that saw the double champion claim a record fifth Independent Drivers Crown. As a key supporter of the Northern Irish racing driver, the Breezemount branding will once again feature heavily on the race car, suit and helmet for Turkington; who for 2016 will be driving the hotly anticipated Subaru Levorg.
With more than 20 million TV viewers across the UK in one season, The British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) provides a superb platform for showcasing the Breezemount brand. It is therefore no surprise that the Company will continue their collaboration with the popular BTCC driver.
Philip Shields, Chairman of the Breezemount Group, explained the rollout of their partnership.
“Colin’s success in recent times confirms his status as one of the world’s best touring car drivers and to position Breezemount alongside that has been a massive result for us. The excitement of his 2015 campaign ignited a passion within us to stay involved and it was made all the more thrilling by the fantastic TV coverage and exposure for our brand. The race weekend hospitality has been an engaging way to entertain our staff, providing a live experience that is second to none. We’ve also had Colin involved in our own Breezemount Motorsport programme which is yet another bonus for us. I am very proud to continue our support for the 2016 season.”
Delighted to pair up with Breezemount once again, Colin expressed the significance of this latest development.
“To continue the relationship with Breezemount for 2016 is superb news for me. I thoroughly enjoyed what we did last year and it was my goal to make sure that Philip and the rest of the Company understood just how important they are to the success of the programme. It gives me great pleasure to see the branding so visible within the British Touring Car Championship and I hope that in 2016 we can deliver even greater results.”
With excitement already building ahead of the 2016 BTCC season, the expectation and anticipation of the new Subaru Levorg is growing. After a long and triumphant rally heritage, the Japanese manufacturer [Subaru] just last month announced their commitment to the BTCC for the next three years with Turkington’s current team – Team BMR. The new Subaru Levorg is scheduled to be unveiled at the Official BTCC Media Day at Donington Park on 22nd March.
